Human
Somewhere between the mandate and the delivery, the human at the other end gets lost. We build every experience around the person at the other end of the screen: their time, their intelligence, and their context.

Kindness
The greatest kindness you can give someone trying to improve themselves is the space and support they need. It shows up in clearer instructions, lived-in scenarios, and interfaces anyone can navigate.

Learning
Training can't just inform. It has to perform. What you finish on a Friday has to change how you do your job on Monday morning. That's the standard we build to.
Our Story
Learning for Every Human
A solvable problem.
Every year, organizations spend billions of dollars on training. Compliance modules get clicked through. Onboarding decks get delivered. Videos get watched. Learners hit walls because products aren’t accessible. And somewhere between the mandate and the delivery, the human being at the other end gets lost in the equation.
We started HumanKind Learning because we believe this is a solvable problem. In fact, we’ve spent a combined century solving it. Our team brings award-winning instructional design, creative direction, systems architecture, and program management capabilities. We’ve led programs worth tens of millions of dollars across federal, state, commercial, and collegiate environments.
Whether it’s building child safety training for the Red Cross or quality assurance training for the Department of Defense, our commitment to human-centered learning never wavers. We’ve designed interactive simulations, engineered accessible platforms, directed instructional video, and authored thousands of hours of training across defense, healthcare, credentialing, and compliance. And we’ve delivered it all on time, on budget, and on target.
The training you finish on a Friday has to change how you do your job on Monday morning.
These are environments where a misunderstood regulation isn’t a quiz score. It’s a safety incident. A failed audit. A career consequence. In these places, you learn quickly that training can’t just inform. It has to perform. The training you finish on a Friday has to change how you do your job on Monday morning.
We accomplish this by answering a question most programs never ask: What happens if the person taking this training doesn’t make the connection between the learning and their life? Does someone get hurt? Does an audit fail? Does a career end? Is a life lost? Learning is all about connection, about bridging the gap between what you know and what you need to know.
We connect learners with the thoughts, processes, ideas, and requirements that empower them to change their perspective, behavior, and belief. And we deliver that information in a way that respects their time, their intelligence, and their context. In other words, we are connectors. We take dense regulatory language, tangled processes, and institutional knowledge and find the signal in the noise. Then we translate that signal into a learning experience that any human can navigate, internalize, and apply.
The best training in the world fails if no one can maintain it.
Can you guess what often gets lost in the conversation? It’s this: the best training in the world fails if no one can maintain it. Content changes. Regulations update. Staff turns over. If a learning solution can only be supported by the team that built it, it has an expiration date. That’s why maintainability is central to everything we do. We design so that the people delivering and sustaining the training—not just the learners taking it—can access it, understand it, and keep it whole. Accessibility isn’t just a learner-side principle. It’s an organizational one.
We call ourselves HumanKind Learning because every design decision we make starts with the person at the other end of the screen. We all need safe spaces to fail, to try again, and to grow. That’s what it means to be human. And the greatest kindness we can give someone trying to improve themselves is the space and support they need. That’s the “kind.” A little kindness goes a long way. In life, and in learning. It shows up in clearer instructions, in scenarios that feel lived-in and relatable, in interfaces that are easy to navigate and accessible to all. This commitment informs every aspect of what we do.
We’ve seen what happens when learning is built with care. Learners engage instead of endure. Organizations retain knowledge instead of recycling it. Teams build capability instead of just checking boxes.
Our story isn’t really about us. It’s about every person who’s ever sat through training that forgot they were a human first and a learner second. We build for them. We build for the teams trying to do right by their people with limited time and real constraints. We build for organizations that believe their workforce deserves better than just “good enough.”
We build learning experiences for all humankind. One connection at a time.
What can we build with you?
